Retired after 36 years with the state, working with Old Codgers lets me connect with fellow community members and give something back to the town I live in. While it doesn't seem like much - an hour and a half or so a week - with many hands it makes a difference for the community and the volunteers. I’m supporting the oldcodgers.org website - so if you spot a problem - let me know. Join us!

Local pediatrician for over thirty years. Retired several years ago. I have always enjoyed being part of the community and recognized early on, the importance of giving back. The Old Codgers has allowed me to connect with neighbors I might never have had the chance to meet. I feel communities are only as strong as their volunteer base. When not doing an Old Codgers' project, you will find me in my workshop running Hallowell Woodworks.
